Me and my friend Alannah Scott over at PlaneeJane Fell i loveee with these helmets. ( like i would honestly wear this shit on the train) But aside from out desperate want of them, we hadn't seen them ANYWHERE, and werent sure if they were going to actually be available t the public. Well now the are! The Helmets are instores and supposedly on Collete, which i havent looked into yet. But the helmets were created in a collaborative effort with lagerfeld and Les Ateliers designer Ruby. there were only 12 of the couture helmets made, and the range from the prices $1800 -$6800. Paris Shanghi CHANEL PF 2010 Collection Photo: Emma Pei in Chanel Pre Fall Courtesy: Style.com The Genius that is Karl Lagerfeld has done it again. For this Pre-Fall collection Karl Lagerfeld came up with the idea of "Paris Shanghi". A story about Coco Chanel going to China. Lagerfeld incorporated some very literal aspects of the chinese culture into the collection like the terra-cotta army through cheongsams, Mandarin split-sided Qipao gowns, deep lacquer-red embellishments and silk linings, Mongolian tapestry boots and shaggy furs, and spins on Communist Mao suits and comrade caps. But he also included classic Chanel pieces like the tweed suits & small details like the tassels and the classic chanel quilting. On a Personal note i have to say that this is one of the best Chanel collections that i have witnessed. It had such a complete and overall Vision that was executed so damn well. chinese culture is something that ive always loved and have been deeply interested in and now to see Chanel + Chinese culture was truley amazing. I love how lagerfeld is always able to bring together things that the normal mind would have never thought to put together. i mean who would have ever though that Gabrielle "coco" chanel was so in love with chinese culture? Versace PreFall 2010 // Photo: Charlotte Calypso in Versace PF Courtesy: Style.com Donatella Versace has done wonders to keep the Versace brand alive and afloat. Like most designers Versace has felt the pressures and falls of the recession. So the brand has been completely revamped and its young, fresh, & modern with that same versace sexiness and confidence. For this PreFall collection Donatella with the trend of her spring 2010 collection. "Bold, Young, colorful, & lots of prints." This prefall collection is "super leggy & skintight" Says Style.com's Nicole Phleps. Donatella was inspired by the Culture and life of Tokyo for her color palette which consist of Orange, Navy, Line Green, Teal, Turquoise, and hints of red. Of course there were some red carpet dresses in the collection but overall i think it has great separates that you can add into your existing wardrobe. Model Spotlight: Arlenis Sosa Photography:Daniel Jackson. Magazine: Harpers Bazaar Arlenis Sosa is hands down one of my favorite Models to date, and one of the most successful models of color in the industry. Arlenis was born in the Dominican Republic May 7th, 1989. In the industry she known as the "Girl Next Door". But i think there is more to that sweet exterior. On May 8th, 2008 Arlenis Walks into Marilyn Agency and signs with them on the spot. two weeks after being signed she booked editorials for VOGUE & Italian Vogue.  Arlenis with Sessilee lopez & Jourdan Dunn. One of Arlenis most recent and notable works is the cover she did for I-D Magazine. She shared the cover with friends Sessilee lopez, Chanel Iman, & Jourdan Dunn ( who was pregnant at the time).  (Arlenis Backstage @ DVF show) Arlenis is one of the few black models on the runway and to be only 20 years old she's making quite a name for herself & im excited what's else to come from the 5'11 Dominican stunner. Qouted:“Knowing there are people like Edward Enninful or Pat McGrath behind the scenes has helped to give me confidence when I work.” Sonia Rykiel H&M Show + Collection + Video Photo: Model Backstage Taken: Sonia Rykiel pour H&M show Sonia Rykiel is one of fashions long loved designers, Famous for her girly knit wear and Playful accessories, Rykiel decided to pair up with Swedish Clothing chain H&M. The designer create and line of lingerie and night clothes for the clothing chain. This is H&Ms first line of intimates for women. Sonia calls the collection "Hollywood Homewear" and you can see that reoccurring theme throughout the whole collection with the 1950's pinup style Bras and panties, and the satin & sequin headbands.The Sonia Rykiel pour H&M lingerie collection, which debuts in around 1,500 H&M stores worldwide from December 5, as well as the knitwear collection for women and girls, which arrives in around 200 stores on February 20, 2010. I think its great that main stream fashion publications are finally getting into the greatness of gaga. In the December / January issue of US ELLE Gag channels her inner Marilyn Monroe for the cover. On the fashion side, Gagas outlandish style was definitely more refined thanks to Stylist & ELLE's creative director Joe Zee. In the magazine Gaga talks Stress, Her Romantic future, & Sexuality. On bodily reactions to stress: “I get all the symptoms of a pregnant woman.
